Mentorship

At OLCAP, we are committed to inspiring and empowering the youth to reach their full potential. Our mentorship initiatives aim to equip young people with the tools, guidance, and support they need to thrive personally, academically, and professionally. Through a combination of one-on-one mentorship, seminars, and sports, we help youth navigate the challenges they face and create a positive path forward.

One-on-One Mentorship and Personal Support

In addition to group seminars and activities, OLCAP creates opportunities for young people to meet with mentors who can address their individual challenges and personal needs. Our mentors provide valuable advice on academic, social, and career issues, helping youth navigate life’s obstacles. Additionally, our chaplain offers spiritual counseling and encouragement, providing emotional and spiritual support to guide youth through difficult times.

Inspiring Positive Change through Seminars and Sports

OLCAP uses seminars and sports activities to engage and inspire young people. These platforms provide opportunities for the youth to learn valuable life skills, including how to make informed career choices, start small businesses, and build strong, healthy futures. Our seminars also focus on critical social issues, such as preventing HIV infection, avoiding drug addiction, and combating teenage pregnancy. By addressing these topics, we encourage youth to make healthier, more informed decisions.

Supporting Teenage Mothers and School Dropouts

Our mentorship forums are especially impactful for teenage mothers who have dropped out of school. We encourage these young women to return to school and continue their education, offering support and guidance to help them succeed. Through mentorship, we provide the encouragement needed to overcome the stigma of early pregnancy and help them realize their full academic and personal potential.

Promoting Drug Abuse Prevention

A key aspect of our mentorship program is educating young people on the dangers of drug abuse and how to protect themselves from HIV/AIDS. We offer advice and resources on how to make healthy lifestyle choices, emphasizing prevention and self-care. These sessions not only inform young people about health risks but also empower them to take responsibility for their well-being.
